Rules for creating Maxikeys Layouts
You are free to define any key-to-character relation you may like, but certain rules have to be obeyed.
Image Size
| The dimensions (width and height) of the keyboard image (keyboard.png) must be a 'power 2' number: 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048. (width, height = 1024, 512 is recommended) | ||
Special keys need specific names

Switch keyboard layout
| Like most other Android keyboards, it is possible to switch between different keyboard layouts in Maxikeys. The difference is that with Maxikeys, different layouts are made by different designers. Therefore it is important, that different layouts have a layout switch key at the same place. As a layout designer you should test, that your layout is compatible with this layout
